Move over Mr Searle and Miss Knell, Principal Alpha and Assistant Principal Sheng Hao took over the office for a jam packed day.
On Monday 11th of May the day had finally come for Alpha (Year 5) and Sheng Hao (Year 4) to step into the office and take over, after winning the opportunity in the Twilight Festival Silent Auction earlier in the year.
These two stepped into the office rocking their finest suits and taking on responsibilities VERY seriously. The day began with the boys welcoming students into school for the day followed by leading the whole school assembly. Alpha and Sheng Hao spent time visiting classrooms to check their work and judge the ‘Ugly Food Competition’. They supervised yard duty, sipped on a well earned hot chocolate in office and even attended some very important meetings with SEIL Andrew Moore, opposition leader Jess Wilson and our schools Junior School Council members to discuss improvements to the school.
What a fantastic day of leadership, confidence and fun for our superstar students!! We cannot wait to see who will be next to take over for the day in 2027!
